As I observe my lesson reflections from earliest to most current, I noticed a recurring theme in my weaknesses has been classroom structure and organization. When I first began teaching, I learned very quickly that the simple organization tips I learned in my elementary education classes designed for 20-30 students simply would not do for art classes meant for 300-800 students. Having class specific seating charts, color coded tables and supplies, as well as student portfolios and class cubbies truly changed the overall flow of my class. This has helped greatly with time management as well as classroom organization and It is my hope my developed classroom guide will help others who may face the same challenges.
