Unit 3 is a more in-depth art creation process focused on exploring Afrofuturistic themes and creating original Afrofuturistic worlds. Afrocentric elements present in this unit include Afrofuturistic themes in African American entertainment culture overtime as well as more currently through Marvel’s Black Panther movie franchise and costume designer Ruth Carter.
